Oh well... i promised this weekend but this morning was slammed. Other than that, it was a *dull* day. My co-workers and I were talking about it. Our office is so cyclical, and I love being busy, but when we have a lull for a few days, it's like "ok, what to do." Instead of cleaning off my desk, I am posting. Heehehe...
I can't believe that it's almost wedding time. When Soulmate and I set a date somewhere in July this year, I felt I had all the time in the world to get everything planned. Fast forward nearly 5 months - most things are done, but minor details have to be finalized.
The number one priority for today is finishing invitations which were going in the mail today, but won't go until Monday... but Monday is public hol.. so perhaps Tuesday. The invitations have reach quota but more people are asking about my wedding... huhuhu~ hardly to invite everyone. sigh. They been asking like, "Mr A is asking about his card, don't u invite him too?" and "Mr B kecik hati ko tak jemput dia" and ring ring "Hey i heard u are getting married, see i can smell it from far, tak jemput pun i" and also "Can i ask Mrs C (not invited) to come with me, did u invite her as well?" double sigh. I tried to slash most of the numbers but it kept on growing. Yaiks!
Anyway, tomorrow, Soulmate and I are going to see dentist. We planned to do scalling. Ever thought of having that in wedding plan? Hahhaha... Sunday perhaps we'll be going to Jln Masjid India... nak beli songkok. I'm also planning to have a visit to Butik Ariani, maybe can get nicer scarf for solemnization.
Monday is public hol for Awal Muharram... planning to spare time with family... oh goodie me :) well, actually i planned to polish dulang hantaran which i borrowed from aunty... and maybe after that kemas - kemas bilik, can start rearrage cloth into new wardrobe.
30th and 31st - on leave. Yippie!!!
30th, have set an appointment for facial. Soulmate is working on that day. Thinking of coming to KL and buy sweets for kiddies... nearby office has this wholesale shop selling all kind of sweets, choc.. basically junk food la. And maybe i'll drop by Wedding City to get that lovely silver case as gifts to VVIP. Then can have it engrave at Central Market... IF i have the time.
1st January... New Year! Soulmate's family and mine are meeting with the wedding caterer to get all of the ceremony details worked out. Last weekend, I finally decided on vocal pieces for the wedding. I've known preludes, recessional music for months, but the songs that will be played have been a harder decision. You Are My Everything is one of my absolute favorite pieces of music. ever. I have been listening to it probably a dozen times, so, in addition to being beautiful, it's also special to me.
Mental checklist, must confirm with Cousin about kompang and emcee.
